It does mean that I will respond with the appropriate emotions in the best interest of myself and those I care about. I want to be able to do what I want to do and be who I truly am with a sense of dignity and self-respect. I will overcome anything that is in the way of this.

I will commit to 30 minutes a day of quiet time to reflect on my emotions. When exactly will you do this each day? Write it down.

I will share this with someone that will hold me accountable, support and encourage me. Not someone that may have good intentions, but supports my self sabotage.

I will persevere.

I will do what I know I need to do, knowing that it will involve growing pains.

I will examine my beliefs to know which ones are working and which ones need to be altered or replaced.
